NYE 09 DISCO versus ROCK

Gettin Hectic, London’s biggest and finest feel good night, presents the final (sniff!) in its epic Vibe Bar NYE spectaculars! Having pulled in over a thousand smiley faces at each of the last 5 events we decided to end on a high.

Gettin Hectic has been one of London’s original eclectic mash-up nights since 1994 and we will be celebrating the beauty of diversity as we welcome in the new year one last time with a split venue mash-up of DISCO versus ROCK. And a split-colour crowd in Hectic red & white.

Downstairs in DISCO HEAVEN will boast the finest in disco including the Hectic dance troupe, virginal giveaways and a live performance from Donald Summer, all refreshed by two bars and the traditional Hectic shots-on-the-hour giveaways. Upstairs in ROCK HELL we will have 2 more bars plus more live performances on stage, the finest in glam, post glam and new wave rock, film screenings and the baddest, reddest, rock giveaways since GnR threw bottles at the crowd. New this year is the extended green 'chill-out' room in association with Sebor Absinth where the Absinth fountain will be flowing all night and the-mind bending trippy sounds of original Hectic DJ's.

The outside courtyard will be heated and covered all night and will be serving loads of different food at the stalls all night long. There will be entertainment in the queue, a new fast-track queuing system (finally we cracked it) incorporating mobile-phone bar coding.
